My Prank Call Feature (Tea And Toast)

For our Tea and Toast Show we needed a feature and i came up with the idea of having a prank call feature. Me and sam set out getting numbers and consent from people and companies so that we could prank call them. To record the feature we got a zoom recorder and went out into sam's car. We would have preferred to use the radio but it was taken so this proved to be quite difficult. In order to record it we had to do all the calls on his bluetooth, hands free kit. This arose a few problems as we could then hear feedback from the phones. To get rid of this we had to put the phone outside of the car. We pranked a few people and outlined the rules of the game. That day i took it into the edit suites and edited it, which also ran over to the next day. To the feature i added sound effects, soundbeds and cut it down so it all flowed well. The we had a pre-recorded feature ready for when we recorded our show. I think this feature goes with our style of show really well as the show is quite informal and humorous as is the feature and our target audience tend to find prank calls quite amusing, as shows through other similar features on stations such as radio 1.
